What's the closest thing you have to a time machine?
Submitted by Verisimilitude.
Memories from my past and the library to research life before I was born. I find the music and spoken word media I have in Cd format, cassette tape and vinyl to be an invaluable source of information for me or anyone interested in learning about the past.
Visiting a museum to learn about the past world too is one of the time machine's that I use to know what was life like before my existence.
The best time machine is listening to a senior citizen share their personal stories of what life was like in the past. I am always enlightened!
NEW YORK - The price of oil recorded its biggest weekly drop ever, and a gallon of gas finally pulled back from its record high. So is it time to declare the energy bubble popped?
Oil traders react during trading activity on the floor of the New York Mercantile...
Warning don't buy into this trap for it is not safe every again to buy trucks and SUVs especially when they are not used for such purposes they were intended for. For example, (often) moving furniture, hulling junk around for family and friends or maybe pulling a boat/jet skies....
Inside this article is the somewhat comforting message:
Toyota Motor Corp., which hasn't been able to keep up with demand for its 46-miles-per-gallon Prius hybrid, said last week it will start producing the Prius in the U.S. and suspend truck and SUV production to meet changing consumer demands.
Toyota and the rest of the auto makers why does it take you this long to react to changing consumer demands? Do you really believe that oil prices will fall back to records lows ever again or any close to it?
That said, I have an answer to my own question and it goes like this: only a fool would believe something of this nature. Unfortunately, there are millions of fools worldwide that continue to fall prey to the notion of cheap energy supplies. And yes, I was at one time a fool also, however after reading the writing on the wall I have amended my wayward attitude.
Seriously.... and I didn't shed a dime! it was at the North Beach Restaurant and we dined in the wine cellar... I hella felt like riff raff I was in my denim and regular white shirt, everyone else was all decked out in their finery.. The model I worked with the other day, you remember security guard dude? hella cool dude, asked me if I wanted to have dinner with him and some friends I said sure ( I have no life so I welcome stuff like this). Well for dinner I had Veal ... thing squares with white wine, lemon and butter sauce or whatever rich people call it.. and for desert this creamy thingy drenched in rum and strawberries.. the joint is Italian but high end.. I mean no cheesy pictures on the walls or anything, the waiters were fluent in the language and they checked on you every second to make sure you were okay... sigh this is the high life... one day maybe I'll be able to live it and share it with you all.... my only complaint.. it was in the cellar... so god it was freezing cold! and since I'm not of age I couldn't drink any of the many yummy wines to warm me up... ahh nice night.... if I had me a fake id I'd be out partying with the company hahaha sigh only a year more to go...
oh my freaking god...this CIA type contraption was installed at work... the machine will be responsible for making our schedules and handle our request for days off and such..., at least humans have a little sympathy when it comes to scheduling but a machine wont care
